Scam Warning!
Be Aware of Fraudulent Listings
While UsedBoats4Sale.com makes every effort to remove fraudulent listings, our website visitors should be aware that all public websites are targeted by scam artists.
Some of our listing parties have received emails from scam artists posing as individuals offering to buy their boats with delivery locations either out of state or in some cases overseas, including England , Africa, and Europe. The proposed payment arrangements have been very enticing. We urge all sellers to be cautious and not provide any detailed personal information to any potential buyer with these kinds of offers. Do not engage in tranactions where the buyers offer to "overpay you" with a "cashiers check" and you return the "difference" to them and or provide the difference to a so called freight company. The best thing to do, is to ignore these responses to your listing

Comments: Good day,

engine? When did you service the Boat last? What is the last price you

scratches on the Boat? Is there any history of Boat accident?.
Thanks for your co operation. Regards.

Good day,
i write to inform you that your price of $31,995.00 has been accepted for the boat and i hope the engine is serviced and oil changed too. However,my client made out a US certified cashiers cheque before he travelled to japan on a business trip, for a previous boat and its shipp ment charges etc,but it was unfortunately sold. The amount on the cheque he deposited for the boat before he left is bigger than what should be paid to you now, so the cheque is now meant for the total expenses which includes the purchase of your boat, the pickup of the boat from its present location and the shipping charges/other necessary shipping arrangements. So we want to know if we shall carry on with that.I will get back to you as soon as i conclude issues with him. Please get back to us as soon as you recieve this. Regards
Dear Tim,
Happy to inform you that the boat payment has been concluded. However, as i informed you in my last mail, that we have a cashier cheque which is made out for the order, but the amount on it is bigger than what you are supposed to be paid. However, our client has instructed us to carry on with his cheque , that means that payment will get to you in cashier cheque of $38,995.00 which is a refund payment of a cancelled order earlier made by my client. So you are required to deduct cost of your boat $31,995.00 when payment gets to you and refund balance $7,000.00 less moneygram charges to my customer via moneygram International money transfer for him to be able to offset shipping charges. The remainder $7,000.00 constitutes a payment to the buyer agent for fees, charges and compensation relative to consummating the transportation of the subject boat and the like.
After payment has reached you and balance sent back to him,our agent will come for the inspection /pickup and drive to a prepaid shipper to be shipped to my customer ,if satisfied with the agreed standard. While title papers and other necessary documets will be handed over to my agent at the time of pickup.
Please Confirm this and provide NAME, ADDRESS AND PHONE NUMBER for check payment to be delivered to you via fedex courier .
