Centurion Boats

Centurion Boats Fineline Industries

Since 1979, Centurion World Headquarters have been located in Merced, California. It is here that Centurion began its long tradition of innovation and attention to detail. Originally a "place to build boats," it has become a forum for designers and craftsmen to talk shop. From the computer controlled CNC machines to the on-site lake testing of each boat, Fineline Industries West has set a new standard for watersport boat production. Now in 2004 Fineline West has grown even bigger. A new factory has been built to compliment to old facility. Fineline West is expected to double its production on the western United States with the addition of this 65,000 sq ft. facility.

In February 2000, Fineline Industries expanded Centurion Boats across the United States with the opening of a state-of-the-art facility in Woodland, North Carolina. We were fortunate enough to find a 40-acre site that allows room for an onsite boat test lake facility complete with a record tournament-approved slalom course, and a lakefront housing development for key personnel. Fineline East houses the most modern boat construction process in the watersports industry. Now with over 100 dealers in the Unites States and Canada, Centurion keeps expanding to give each of our customers the greatest boat buying experience, no matter where they are.

Centurion’s design and construction is innovative and unmatched in both strength and reliability. I.C.S. (Integrated Composite System) is the most advanced watersport boat construction method. A 100% composite design that sacrifices nothing makes each boat as strong as a tank but also light in weight.
I.C.S. is a three-piece construction process that includes the hull, inner liner and deck. Centurion boats, unlike automobiles, are made from the outside-in. Gelcoat colors and full-contour graphics are sprayed into the mold of the hull, inner liner and deck. On a Centurion boat, all pinstripes and graphics (with the exception of the boat name) are a part of the boat’s gelcoat. This ensures the longest life for graphics and accents.

Every Centurion built is vigorously lake-tested at one of our private lakes. During lake tests, the engine is fine-tuned, components are tightened and speed adjustments are made using the finest computer and GPS technology.

As the final touch, each boat is waxed and buffed, creating the perfect gelcoat shine and fabulous color Centurion is known for. Decals are then placed in their respective positions and your Centurion is ready to be delivered to you anywhere in the world. We are never content to rest on our laurels at Centurion. Because of our efforts to refine and improve our boats, we will always produce the highest quality boat for you.
